ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Seasonal Artists is an invitation to observe how shifting seasons transform everything around and within us: from the trees by the canal to our energy levels, from birds singing to our social interactions. As Berlin moves from winter's quiet stillness to summer's vibrant energy, we transform too.
Using art to express and capture nature's cycles, we create a space where the transition between seasons becomes a story of constant renewal we all experience together, yet one that reflects differently in each of us. Each workshop is an excuse to play, to create, and to connect with others.
Join us for playful, analog art workshops where we explore how the seasons transform the city around us, and ourselves. No artistic experience needed. Everyone is welcome, even if the last time you picked up coloured pencils was in school.
Each 3-hour workshop follows the rhythm of the season we're in, creating space for both collective exploration and personal creation.
Part 1: Collective Creation
We begin together, contributing to shared canvases and collaborative texts. Through speed painting, creative writing, and abstract art exercises, we capture the essence of the current season as a group.
Part 2: Your Personal Zine
The collective work becomes raw material. By cutting and repurposing what we've created together, you'll craft your own unique fanzine that maps your personal experience of the season. The lines between individual and collective creation intentionally blur: Your zine carries traces of the group, and the group carries traces of you.
Part 3: Sharing Circle
We close by returning to the collective, sharing our zines and reflections, giving back our individual discoveries to the shared experience.

We're Giuliana Cordini and Paz Arando, two friends and designers who are always looking for excuses to create together.
As immigrants living in Neukölln, we've found in art a powerful tool for community building and in nature an endless source of inspiration. With backgrounds in design, art, and facilitation, we bring a structured yet playful approach to our workshops, creating spaces where creativity flows naturally and everyone feels welcome.
The Seasonal Artists exists because we believe in the magic that happens when people come together to create, observe, and share their experiences through art. We're here to hold space for that magic, to facilitate the creative process, and to explore the seasons alongside you.
